Across the Region

• Greenprint - Adopted by 22 cities and 6 counties in the greater Sacramento region, the Greenprint is a regional framework designed to build an optimal urban forest in every neighborhood, business district, park, school, and street.  The Greenprint sets the stage for our efforts to plant 5 million new trees in the Sacramento region by 2025.  Join our efforts, by volunteering at an upcoming planting event, telling us about your community's need for trees, or making a donation to support our tree planting efforts.
  

In Your Community

• Trees for schools, parks, and streets - NeighborWoods seeks to bring the benefits of trees and community action to the public places of our region. The program provides education and tree planting opportunities to thousands of people every year, ensuring a legacy of green parks and schools for generations to come. Contact us to discuss how we can work together to beautify your school, park, or open space.
  
• Native Trees in the Urban & Rural Environment (NATURE) - Our NATURE program works to replenish and sustain the native flora and fauna of Sacramento County by replanting and protecting native trees and woodlands. Spend a morning planting in open spaces with us and enjoying what nature has to offer. Check our calendar of events for more information.
  

Around Your Home

• Sacramento Shade - Sacramento County residents are eligible for up to 10 free trees through the Sacramento Shade tree program, a partnership with SMUD.  Contact us to schedule an appointment for a Community Forester to visit your home or business. Street trees and trees for parking lots are also available.
