What’s the thin pole that’s attached to the tree?
The bamboo stake that is up against the trunk of the tree needs to be removed during planting. This “nursery stake” will cause much damage to the tree as it grows and will hamper its growth. These stakes make wonderful fishing pole for young children or may be used on other plants that will benefit from staking (pole beans, vines, etc.).
